All our guitars come from the factory to an authorized refurbishing center, for any number of reasons, mostly due to small cosmetic issues. Any issues are expertly repaired by a large team of professional certified luthiers or so small they are simply left alone. We hand select and personally test each guitar we receive. That's right we never let a guitar go out the door without testing it first. As a matter of fact each instrument is inspected 6 times to ensure quality. It is part of our commitment to our customers. We get our guitars from a national supplier of unowned and unplayed instruments. Due to minor imperfections or factory overstock, they are stamped used or 2nd on the back of the headstock. This stamp is to prevent unathorized warranty claims. This in no way affects the sound or playability of these fine instruments. As a matter of fact they are normally set up better this way as our distributor goes through each instrument before it leaves the factory
